Sr PostgreSQL DBA

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Oracle & PostgreSQL / AlloyDB with senior-level hands-on administration experience.
• Flexibility to work with other databases such as MySQL (desired), MongoDB, and cloud-native DBs.
• Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of backup & recovery (RMAN, Data Guard, expdp / impdp).
• Strong skills in automation scripting (Unix Shell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Excellent incident management and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT or related field.

8+ years of experience in Database Administration with proven success in enterprise environments.
