JOB DESCRIPTION

Position : International Business Development Manager / Sr. BDM – International Sales

Experience : 3–7 years

Location : Pune Type : Full-time Shift Timing : PST (Pacific Standard Time)

JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Business Developer to help expand our global footprint—especially in the US market—and grow our client base in the bookkeeping, tax & advisory services sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with international clients, and driving the firm's growth in defined international markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Market Research & Strategy

 Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities in international markets, especially the US.

 Develop and execute strategies for expanding the firm's global presence.

 Analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer needs to position the firm effectively. Lead Generation & Business Development

 Identify and generate leads from international clients, primarily small to medium sized businesses in need of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services.

 Move opportunities through sales stages with accurate forecasting.

 Build and maintain client relationships through cold outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.

 Drive awareness through regular email and call campaigns to encourage client action.

 Develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to client needs.

Sales & Revenue Generation

 Meet or exceed monthly targets for activity, lead generation, opportunity creation, and revenue.

 Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to ensure consistent monthly conversions.

 Convert prospects into clients and negotiate deals in line with business goals and profitability. Client Relationship Management

 Foster long-term client relationships through exceptional service and understanding of business needs.  Coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.

 Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, managing communication and issue resolution.

Collaboration with Interdependent Teams

 Work cross-functionally with delivery, sales & marketing, and operations to align strategies with international growth.

 Contribute to content development (blogs, social media, sales collateral) aimed at international markets. Reporting & Performance Tracking

 Monitor and report on performance metrics such as lead conversion, revenue, and client satisfaction.

 Provide regular updates and market insights to senior management.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).

 Must have valid VISAs for international travel.

 3–7 years of international business development experience, preferably in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax services.

 Strong understanding of the US & North American market.

 Excellent sales, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.

 Proficient in navigating organizational hierarchies and engaging decision-makers.

 Self-driven with a strong track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

 Team player with ability to work independently.

 Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and market research tools.

 Multilingual ability is a plus. BENEFITS
