Perl Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Perl Developer to work on a freelance / contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perl development, database integration, and application code conversion, with proven expertise in managing release processes. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to deliver quality solutions in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using Perl.
• Write and enhance T-SQL / SQL Server code to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Work on application code conversion projects (e.g., Sybase to MS SQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for release management and deployment activities.
• Utilize ADO, Git, and other tools for version control and release tracking.
• Ensure best practices in coding, documentation, and release processes are consistently followed.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
