ETL Tester

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Platform to design, implement, and test cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure data services, ETL tools, and advanced SQL programming.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform end-to-end ETL testing, including data validation, transformation, and integration testing.

Work with Azure Data Factory , Azure Synapse , Azure Databricks , and Azure SQL Database to validate data pipelines and workflows.

Ingest and transform data from multiple sources using Azure data services.

Develop and execute complex SQL and Spark SQL queries for data verification and performance validation.

Collaborate with development teams to identify data quality issues and recommend improvements.

Set up and provision test environments and data platform technologies in the cloud.

Create and validate Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, and Cursors ; manage large datasets efficiently.

Test and validate data in both relational and non-relational data sources, including streams and file stores.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across systems.

Stay current with Azure cloud advancements and explore ways to leverage cloud technologies for data analytics improvement.

Required Skills & Experience :

5–8 years of professional experience in ETL and cloud data testing on Microsoft Azure.

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure SQL DB .

Excellent programming and scripting skills in SQL , Spark SQL , and Python / Scala .

Experience with ETL tools such as SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP HANA.

Good understanding of data platform architecture, including relational and non-relational databases , data streams , and file-based data stores .

Ability to learn and work with new technologies, particularly on the Spark platform .
