Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Automation and Commissioning Engineer - Electrical / Instrumentation / PLC Programmer at Acquatech Ltd - AGATE Industrial solutions Pvt ltd. The role is located in Chennai and travel across India / Abroad. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing automated systems for industrial processes & Commissioning of the machines on-site.

Day-to-day tasks include programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), designing electrical control systems, troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to optimize process control and automation. The role may also involve integrating robotics into existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering and Automation skills
• Experience in Programming PLCs and designing Electrical Control Systems
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance skills for automated systems
• Knowledge of Process Control and Robotics
• Willingness to Travel across the world for onsite works
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Experience in industrial automation or a related field is a plus
