Position : Instrumentation Engineer
Location : Mumbai, Maharashtra
About the Role
Develop instrumentation and control systems for hydrogen / ammonia plants.
Responsibilities
- Design layouts for instrumentation, automation, and safety systems.
- Experience in project engineering / design / procurement / inspection of instrumentation equipment for large process plants.
- Prepare instrument datasheets, IO lists, and control philosophies.
- Review vendor offers, evaluate control system architecture, and interface with DCS / PLC systems.
- Ensure reliability and accuracy of instrumentation during installation and commissioning.
- Exposure to FEED (Front End Engineering Design).
- Hands-on experience with FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) & SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
- Prior experience in Engineering / Consulting / EPC organizations.
- Exposure to safety studies (PHA, HAZOP, SIL).
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of automation systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering.5–10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation design and automation, preferably in hydrogen, ammonia, or related process industries.Required Skills
Strong knowledge of DCS, PLCs, SCADA, and safety instrumented systems.Familiarity with IEC, ISA, and safety standards.Preferred Skills
