The Senior Landscape BIM Coordinator will play a key role in advancing digital delivery across landscape architecture projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Delivery and working closely with the BIM Manager, this role is responsible for managing BIM standards, driving improved ways of working, and ensuring coordinated, high-quality outputs. The coordinator will also take accountability for the quality and consistency of BIM deliverables, remain engaged in production where required to support project deadlines and validate SOPs, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project management teams to align digital processes with project objectives.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVES
- The role should be accountable for creating and owning the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and related project documentation.
- Implement and maintain the BIM Protocol, as per project scope.
- Accountable for managing and maintaining BIM standards and SOPs to ensure consistency across projects
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the BIM Protocol.
- Manage BIM Coordination (not limited to clash detection) and use of information during the BIM process.
- Review records of BIM models and their status.
- Establish quality control procedures to check that all the models are accurate.
- Ensure that each organization has published version of the model for each significant milestone stage as identified in the BIM Coordination Program.
- Co-ordinate hand over of model and data at the agreed milestones in the BIM Coordination program.
- To lead the BIM coordination work with all project stakeholders.
- To develop the project folders, file structure, templates, central files, etc.
- Setting the quality standard and procedures.
- Monitor and supervise the agreed document and model sharing / publication system.
- Senior Landscape BIM Coordinator must initiate, agree, and implement the Project Information Plan (PIP) and Asset Information Plan (AIP).
- Information structure across roles for example, software platforms including all levels of supply chains, appropriate to meet Employer requirements and Project Team resources.
- Accountable for development of detailed Revit families and project details.
- Accountable for development of scripts.
- Initiate training programs
- Accountable for preparation of precontract BEP.
- Assist and / or lead with review of RFP for BID / Fee proposal.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
