React Native Developer (Contract)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced React Native Developer (3–5 years) who can take full ownership of building high-quality mobile applications from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our design and product team to translate ideas into fast, reliable, and elegant user experiences. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in an autonomous, startup-style environment and enjoys shipping complete, production-ready apps.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of React Native mobile apps — from setup and architecture to deployment.

Integrate APIs, authentication, notifications, and other mobile features with strong attention to performance and reliability.

Collaborate with designers to bring polished UI / UX to life.

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with best practices in mind.

Debug, test, and optimize apps for both iOS and Android.

Manage your own sprints, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional experience building mobile apps using React Native.

Strong grasp of modern JavaScript / TypeScript and React fundamentals.

Proven experience taking at least one app from concept to production launch independently.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, app store deployment, and version control (Git).

Familiarity with native modules, push notifications, app performance optimization, and analytics integration.

Comfortable working asynchronously and communicating progress proactively.

Nice to Have

Experience with Expo, Fastlane, Firebase, or backend integration (Node.js, Python, etc.).

UI animation skills (Reanimated, Gesture Handler, etc.).

Prior experience working with early-stage startups or small product teams.
