Job Description – Workday Studio & Manual Testing Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Workday Studio & Manual Testing Consultant
to support the design, development, and validation of Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, experience testing integrations and business processes, and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain complex integrations using
Workday Studio .
Conduct
manual testing
for integrations, reports, and end-to-end Workday processes.
Analyze business and functional requirements to define technical integration specifications.
Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Perform impact analysis, defect tracking, and root cause identification for integration issues.
Work closely with Workday functional teams, HR stakeholders, and external partners.
Validate integration outputs, transformation logic, and data accuracy.
Document technical designs, test cases, system behaviors, and deployment steps.
Support production releases, regression testing, and ongoing maintenance.
Provide expert insights and recommendations for improving integration quality and system performance.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with
Workday Studio
integrations.
Expertise in
manual testing
of integrations, business processes, and Workday modules.
Knowledge of Workday integration technologies (EIB, Core Connectors, REST / SOAP APIs).
Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and error handling.
Good knowledge of
Workday HCM
data structures and security.
Ability to create test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
Exposure to Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, or Benefits integrations.
Familiarity with automation testing tools (if applicable).
Workday certification in Integrations or Studio.
Education & Experience
Minimum
5–10 years of Workday integration experience .
Bachelor’s degree or
15 years of full-time education .
