Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workday US Absence Management Consultant to design, configure, and support Workday Absence processes specifically for the United States region. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of leave policies, accruals, eligibility rules, and compliance requirements within the US market. This role requires strong analytical, configuration, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end configuration and support for Workday Absence Management (US-specific).
- Analyze and document US absence requirements including PTO, Sick Leave, FMLA, State Leaves, Disability, and other statutory mandates.
- Configure accruals, time-off plans, work schedules, carryover rules, eligibility criteria, and validation rules.
- Support implementation of US leave policies across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Time Tracking teams to align absence processes.
- Perform system testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), resolve defects, and ensure smooth rollout of changes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot absence-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain documentation including configuration guides, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Support annual cycles such as year-end accrual resets, policy updates, and configuration changes.
- Ensure compliance with US legal requirements and internal governance standards.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to HR and Operations teams.

Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).Experience with Workday US Payroll or Time Tracking.Workday certification in Absence Management.Exposure to global absence policies.Education & Experience
5–10 years of experience working in Workday Absence Management.Experience specifically in US Absence implementations or support.Bachelor’s degree / 15 years of full-time education.Location
