Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Business Analyst with deep exposure to credit products, risk, and PnL valuations.
This is an individual contributor role suited for a number-cruncher with a solid foundation in fixed income and credit markets, capable of navigating complex regulatory and valuation systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and drive delivery of strategic projects within credit risk and regulatory risk domains.
- Perform complex analytics related to valuations, front office risk, and market risk.
- Support and enhance quantitative models across regulatory areas (e.g., FRTB, CRMIRC, IDR) and credit products (flow and structured).
- Collaborate closely with Quant and Financial Engineering teams to resolve pricing issues and implement sophisticated risk and valuation models.
- Work with global stakeholders across Business COOs, Market Risk COOs, Quants, and Technology teams to translate business needs into executable deliverables.
- Assist in back-testing, sensitivity modeling, and validation of risk and pricing models.
- Coordinate with Data Engineering teams to integrate data from trading venues and ensure proper ingestion pipelines.
- Contribute to improving production stability by resolving complex technical and analytical issues.
Key Skills :
Strong domain knowledge of fixed income products including but not limited to credit and rates products.Proven problem-solving abilities with a passion for detailed analytics and quantitative rigor.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex concepts to varied audiences.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a global and cross-functional environment.Strong interpersonal skills; a team player who fosters strong relationships across technology and business teams.Desired Skills :
Certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CQF demonstrating quantitative and risk modeling expertise.Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Query, or other ETL / BI tools (e.g., 3Forge) is highly desirable.Exposure to regulatory risk frameworks (e.g., FRTB, CRM, IRC) and experience working with large data sets and market data feeds.(ref : iimjobs.com)
