APTI PLUS Academy for Civil Services has been a premier location for UPSC IAS, WBCS, and OPSC Exam coaching since 2006, with a strong presence in both Kolkata and Bhubaneswar.

Role Overview : We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on driving student admissions through direct, on-the-ground engagement. You will be the face of our institute, responsible for counseling prospective students and their parents, generating leads through local outreach, and building a strong network within the local educational community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the education sector.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all walk-in inquiries from prospective students and parents at our center.
  • Conduct professional, in-person counseling sessions to understand the needs of aspirants and guide them toward the most suitable courses.
  • Drive student enrollment by managing the complete sales cycle, from initial inquiry and follow-up to final admission.
  • Generate a consistent pipeline of leads by executing local marketing activities, such as conducting seminars in schools and colleges, and participating in educational events.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local educational institutions, coaching centers, and other potential partners to create a robust referral network.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly admission targets.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all leads, interactions, and conversions in the CRM system.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements) :

  • Experience : 2-4 years of proven experience in a B2C sales, counseling, or business development role.
  • Industry Background : Prior experience in the education / EdTech industry is mandatory. Experience in admissions or counseling for competitive exams (like UPSC, JEE, NEET) is highly preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong sales and persuasion abilities, with a consultative and empathetic approach.

    Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Qualifications : A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
  • Attributes : A target-driven and proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for helping students succeed.
