Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), including routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
Manage and support co-location data center networking environments ensuring high availability and performance.
Work with virtualized data center technologies, including Hyper-V networking, to support cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Monitor, debug, and administer network performance using various network monitoring and administration tools.
Collaborate with security teams to configure and manage firewalls and load balancers, ensuring secure and efficient external access to single-tenant applications.
Provide deep understanding and support for application integration and service stacks running on virtualized compute platforms.
Utilize familiarity with Azure networking concepts to support hybrid cloud environments.
Troubleshoot network issues related to data, voice, and video technologies ensuring minimal downtime.
Document network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to maintain comprehensive network knowledge base.
Qualifications :
5 to 8 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in enterprise and data center environments.
Strong experience with co-location data center networking.
Hands-on knowledge of virtualized data center networking, especially Hyper-V.
Solid understanding of wired and wireless data, voice, and video network technologies.
Proven skills in enterprise LAN / WAN design and network device configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with network monitoring, debugging, and administration tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts and services.
Experience configuring and managing firewalls and load balancers for secure application access.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills :
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA / CCNP, Microsoft Azure Network Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools.
Knowledge of cloud networking best practices and hybrid cloud deployments.
