Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), including routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Manage and support co-location data center networking environments ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Work with virtualized data center technologies, including Hyper-V networking, to support cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Monitor, debug, and administer network performance using various network monitoring and administration tools.
  • Collaborate with security teams to configure and manage firewalls and load balancers, ensuring secure and efficient external access to single-tenant applications.
  • Provide deep understanding and support for application integration and service stacks running on virtualized compute platforms.
  • Utilize familiarity with Azure networking concepts to support hybrid cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot network issues related to data, voice, and video technologies ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to maintain comprehensive network knowledge base.

Qualifications :

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in enterprise and data center environments.
  • Strong experience with co-location data center networking.
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtualized data center networking, especially Hyper-V.
  • Solid understanding of wired and wireless data, voice, and video network technologies.
  • Proven skills in enterprise LAN / WAN design and network device configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network monitoring, debugging, and administration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts and services.
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls and load balancers for secure application access.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA / CCNP, Microsoft Azure Network Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking best practices and hybrid cloud deployments.
