We are seeking a highly skilled Container Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust container infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines. Youll work closely with development and operations teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable, while driving automation and observability across the stack.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, and secure containerized infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Maintain and enhance CI / CD pipelines, emphasizing reliability, automation, and speed of delivery.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure 24 / 7 system availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize containerized application performance.
- Perform capacity planning and cost optimization for container workloads across environments.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews to continuously improve system resilience.
- Harden container platforms to meet security, compliance, and resilience standards.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, OpenShift) and Docker.Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and container orchestration.Proficiency in at least one scripting language : Python, Bash, or Go.Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.Solid experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools : Terraform, Helm, Ansible.Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD) or relevant cloud technologies.Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools.(ref : hirist.tech)
