Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with 510 years of experience and specialized expertise in Oracle Billing solutions, particularly Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
This role is crucial for acting as the functional liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical implementation team.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining, documenting, and managing complex business requirements related to revenue, billing, and financial processes within the ORMB application landscape.
Key Elicitation and Documentation :
- Lead functional requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders across finance, operations, and sales departments.
- Define, analyze, and meticulously document complex business requirements, current state processes, and future state designs, specifically related to Oracle Billing and revenue
management.
Create detailed functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and use cases for ORMB implementation and configuration.Functional ORMB Expertise :
Apply strong functional knowledge of Oracle Billing or ORMB modules, including customer management, pricing, rating, billing, invoicing, payments, and general ledger integration.Perform gap analysis between client business requirements and standard ORMB functionalities, and propose effective solutions.Configure ORMB components (e.g., rate schedules, bill cycles, general ledger configurations) to meet documented business needs.Testing and Stakeholder Management :
Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Conduct functional testing and support end-users during UAT, ensuring the implemented solution meets business requirements.Act as the primary functional point of contact, ensuring clear and consistent communication between business users and the technical development 5-10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role.Domain Expertise (Mandatory) : Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Billing solutions, specifically Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
Requirements Management : Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation (functional specifications), and business process mapping.
Testing : Experience in developing test scenarios and supporting UAT for large-scale application implementations
