About the Role :
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Recruitment, Payroll Management, and End-to-End HR Operations , preferably within the real estate industry . The role requires a proactive professional who can manage HR processes efficiently while supporting the company’s growth and people strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition :
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of talent through job portals, networking, and referrals.
Payroll & Compliance :
Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).Maintain employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy.Liaise with finance for timely salary disbursement and reconciliation.HR Operations & Employee Engagement :
Manage employee lifecycle activities — onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits.Oversee attendance, leave management, and performance evaluation processes.Implement and support HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and welfare programs.Ensure smooth HR audits and compliance with labor laws and company policies.Learning & Development :
Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs.Support career development initiatives and performance management cycles.Key Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.Experience : 5 – 8 years of HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.Strong knowledge of recruitment , payroll , and HR operations .Familiarity with HRMS systems and MS Office tools .Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer :
