Director - Platform Engineering (DevOps)

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Leader in Infrastructure and Platform Engineering

to lead our infrastructure, reliability, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive scalability, security, and performance across our global platforms, while building and mentoring a high-performing platform engineering team.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to design resilient systems, ensure high availability, and champion operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy for Platform Engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps, aligning with business objectives. Develop a roadmap to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance, ensuring alignment with Liminal's growth and innovation goals.
• Oversee design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Implement automation for CI / CD pipelines ensuring rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
• Ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of production systems.Lead incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Set and uphold reliability metrics for critical services, ensuring customer-impacting issues are minimized.
• Monitor and optimize cloud usage and infrastructure costs.
