Program Manager DRE

Our Partner organization is seeking a Program Manager to lead and scale their Green Business and Decentralized Renewable Energy efforts. This role will be pivotal in driving on-ground implementation, fostering partnerships, supporting local entrepreneurship in green sectors, and building sustainable models that can be scaled to other districts.

Reporting to the Mission Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for program design, coordination, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement across public, private, and civil society actors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of green entrepreneurship initiatives
• Use program management tools to track progress, identify risks, and ensure milestones are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, local entrepreneurs, government departments, and private sector players.
• Facilitate convergence and collaboration across ecosystem actors.
• Identify opportunities in green livelihoods and renewable energy-based enterprises.
• Support entrepreneurs in product-market fit, enterprise formalization, access to finance, and capacity building.
• Design and manage MIS to track intervention outcomes (e.g., green jobs created, carbon reduction potential).
• Document learnings and produce dashboards, reports, and knowledge products.
• Guide partner organizations in branding, digital outreach, and awareness generation.
• Support entrepreneurs in accessing markets (including e-commerce, B2B, and local demand aggregation).
• Draft, negotiate, and operationalize MoUs with implementation partners.
• Ensure alignment on deliverables, compliance, and reporting.
• Organize regular review meetings with stakeholders to assess progress, challenges, and course correction needs.
• Feed insights into organizations broader learning and strategy processes.
