We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking GEO / SEO Specialist to lead our organic search strategy across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms. This role demands deep expertise in SEO fundamentals, advanced AEO techniques for featured snippets and voice search, and cutting-edge GEO strategies to optimize visibility in generative search experiences like Google SGE and Bing Copilot. As part of Epsilon, the specialist will audit client websites, identify optimization opportunities, and develop tailored strategies to enhance their digital presence. Experience of 5 – 7 years in this space.
Responsibilities :
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage on-page SEO : meta tags, structured data, URL architecture, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Oversee off-page SEO : backlink acquisition, authority building, and outreach.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance technical SEO : page speed, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and opportunity sizing.
- Align SEO efforts with SEM campaigns for unified messaging and performance.
- Monitor and improve organic performance using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) :
Optimize content for featured snippets, FAQ schema, and voice search queries.Implement structured data to enhance visibility in zero-click search results.Develop conversational content strategies tailored for voice assistants and smart devices.Track and improve performance in answer-focused SERP formats.Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) :
Design strategies to surface brand content in AI-generated search results (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot).Create and optimize content for generative search experiences, including conversational and contextual queries.Leverage schema markup (FAQ, How-to, Review) to improve AI discoverability.Stay ahead of emerging SERP formats and adapt content to meet evolving AI search behaviors.Qualifications : Requirements :
Looking for 5-8 years of experienceProven experience in driving SEO growth for B2C, marketplace, or ecommerce platforms.Proficiency with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.Strong understanding of technical SEO : site architecture, canonicalization, robots.txt, sitemaps, schema.Expertise in keyword strategy, content optimization, and authority building.Experience managing external SEO agencies and setting performance KPIs.Familiarity with AEO and GEO concepts, including optimization for AI-powered search engines.Up-to-date knowledge of Google algorithm updates, Webmaster Guidelines, and ethical SEO practices.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with conversational search optimization and zero-click strategies.Knowledge of emerging AI search technologies and SERP formats.Background in content strategy, digital marketing, or web development is a plus.
