HiLabs - Software Development Engineer - Test - UI Testing

Responsibilities :

• Write clean, scalable automation code using core languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for Web, API, and Data pipelines.
• Integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Conduct backend validation and data pipeline testing using medium-complexity SQL queries.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend, API, and database layers.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA members to ensure full test coverage.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes.
• Contribute to functional, regression, and smoke testing activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation coverage and test results.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and tools in quality engineering. MUlti-tasking capabilities and leadership qualities are required.
