Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant specializing in SAP SuccessFactors Integration Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SuccessFactors APIs, OData services, Integration Center, and Employee Central modules, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical developers. This role requires strong functional knowledge, high-level technical design skills, and hands-on experience in integration, configuration, and testing across HR business processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional and high-level technical design for SuccessFactors interface solutions.
- Facilitate and lead workshops with HR, vendors, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
- Prepare Integration Design Documents (IDDs), ensuring alignment with project requirements and updates from testing / QA feedback.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to support build and validation of interfaces for the One People Project.
- Configure core SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruitment, Compensation, Time Off, Foundation Data, etc.) to meet business needs.
- Define workflows, business rules, and data models within SuccessFactors.
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate mapping of employee and organizational data.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system performance and business alignment.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth end-to-end connectivity between SuccessFactors and other SAP / non-SAP systems.
- Document and analyze functional requirements and business processes, translating them into scalable SF solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SAP SuccessFactors best practices, data governance, and integration standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
7+ years of total functional experience with at least 3+ years in SAP SuccessFactors implementation and integration.Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors APIs, OData Services, Integration Center, Manage Data, and Foundation Data.Hands-on experience with Employee Central, Recruitment, Compensation, and Time Off modules.Deep understanding of HR data and processes, including :New Joiner / OnboardingTerminationGlobal Assignment & TransferAcquisitionsPerformance, Learning & DevelopmentKnowledge of Integration Architecture (integration between SuccessFactors and SAP / non-SAP systems) using REST APIs, Web Services, and Middleware tools.Strong experience in SuccessFactors Core HR configuration.Ability to define and implement business rules, workflows, and security roles.Experience in functional documentation (IDDs, requirements, test cases).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :
SAP HCM or SAP Payroll integration experience.Familiarity with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) for SuccessFactors.Knowledge of Agile project delivery methodologies.Exposure to global HR transformation projects.(ref : hirist.tech)
