The Tech Business Analyst (EBS) plays a key role in enabling business solutions within a global Agile digital technology team. This individual will collaborate closely with Product Owners, technical teams, design teams, and other Business Analysts to ensure effective communication with stakeholders, SaaS vendors, and both internal and external users of enterprise solutions worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Engage with stakeholders and end-users to research, elicit, develop, and document business and technical requirements.
Facilitate ideation and solution design workshops.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT implementation.
Define and document current and future business processes and workflows.
Map data flows and document system interactions.
Agile & Product Ownership Support
Work with the Product Owner to build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in line with Agile best practices.
Write well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability to requirements.
Split epics into actionable user stories to support development and testing.
Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented correctly.
Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities to optimize system performance.
Proactively identify automation opportunities and improvements across enterprise systems.
Ensure requirements traceability and provide documentation and evidence for each release.
Assist in training preparation and delivery for end users.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, coordinating cross-functional efforts to resolve issues.
Serve as a thought leader, bringing best practices and fostering Agile maturity within the team.
Promote reusable, generalized components that provide value across multiple teams.
Data & Reporting
Create and maintain detailed reports on system performance and business process effectiveness.
Perform data manipulation and analysis to support insights and decisions.
Project Support
Lead or contribute to project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
8+ years of business analysis experience.
Minimum of 3 years working in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Swagger.
Experience with Oracle ERP and enterprise systems.
Experience working with Supply Chain related systems
Hands-on experience in data analysis and manipulation.
Experience working with internal, contracted, and SaaS vendor teams.
Familiarity with microservices and domain-driven design principles.
Knowledge of XML, FTP, ETL, APIs, and web services.
Multiple system integration projects.
Knowledge on integration tools like Kafka, Boomi, and others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
