Job Purpose :
To lead the Supply Chain Excellence function and drive strategic transformation across procurement, logistics, warehousing, planning, and contract operations. The role focuses on institutionalizing best-in-class systems, analytics, and processes to enhance supply chain efficiency, agility, cost optimization, and resilience in line with organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Transformation & Process Excellence
- Define and execute the SCM Excellence roadmap aligned with business strategy and growth plans.
- Lead continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to streamline end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Standardize processes across procurement, logistics, and inventory to ensure scalability and cross-functional alignment.
- Drive benchmarking, gap assessment, and deployment of global SCM best practices.
Supply Chain Analytics & Performance Management
Establish and monitor key SCM KPIs (COGS, OTIF, Lead Time, Supplier Performance, Inventory Turns).Develop analytics frameworks using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and ERP dashboards for data-driven decision-making.Review supply chain performance across business units and implement corrective action plans for continuous improvement.Digital Transformation & Systems Integration
Drive digitalization and automation of supply chain processes through ERP (SAP, Oracle Fusion, JDE) and advanced analytics platforms.Collaborate with IT to implement AI, RPA, and predictive analytics tools for proactive decision-making and risk management.Planning & Optimization
Oversee integration of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Demand Forecasting, and Inventory Optimization.Drive synchronization between procurement, production, and logistics to improve service levels and working capital efficiency.Capability Building & Governance
Build and lead a high-performing SCM Excellence team to institutionalize a culture of efficiency and innovation.Conduct governance reviews, track initiative outcomes, and ensure benefits realization across supply chain functions.Develop and implement training programs to strengthen SCM capabilities across levels.Key Skills & Competencies :

B.E. / B.Tech with MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Management.18–25 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing or renewable energy sectors, with at least 5 years in leading SCM Excellence / Transformation roles.Certifications : CSCP (APICS), Lean Six Sigma Black / Green Belt, PMP preferred.Proven track record in driving cost reduction, process optimization, and digital supply chain transformation.
