Role Overview :
As a Kronos (UKG Pro WFM Dimensions) Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end workforce management solutions for large-scale clients. You will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution architecture, system configuration, integration with enterprise applications (HCM / Payroll / ERP), and implementation best practices. This role demands deep technical expertise in UKG Dimensions along with strong consulting and client engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities : Assessment & Workshops :
- Conduct discovery sessions and requirement workshops with client business and technical stakeholders (HR, Payroll, IT).
- Document business processes, workforce policies, compliance requirements, and system gaps.
Solution Architecture & Design :
Architect scalable solutions leveraging UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions) core modules (Timekeeping, Accruals, Leave).Design integrations with HCM systems (Workday, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ceridian) and Payroll applications.Translate complex business rules (pay rules, shift rules, overtime, accruals) into system configurations.System Configuration & Customization :
Configure Dimensions modules : Timekeeping, Accruals, Leave, Scheduling, Forecasting, Attendance, Activities.Develop custom business rules, compliance logic, alerts, notifications, and workflows.Perform advanced configuration using WIM (Workforce Integration Manager), Genies, HyperFind queries, and APIs.Integration Development :
Design and implement integrations with external HRIS, Payroll, ERP, and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Snowflake).Build and support REST APIs, middleware (Boomi, MuleSoft), and file-based integrations (SFTP, flat files).Testing & Validation :
Prepare and execute test cases for Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.Troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy between UKG and third-party systems.Deployment & Go-Live :
Support cutover planning, migration, and production go-live activities.Deliver hypercare support post-go-live, ensuring stability and issue resolution.Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management :
Act as a trusted advisor to client HR / Payroll leadership teams.Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language using process flow diagrams, functional specs, and solution blueprints.Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing :
Provide mentorship to junior consultants and team members.Document best practices, reusable components, and accelerators for future implementations.Travel Requirement :
Up to 25% domestic / international travel for workshops, client meetings, and go-live support.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience :
6 - 10 years implementing / supporting enterprise HR / Payroll / WFM applications.Minimum 5 years of hands-on UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions) experience with expertise in Timekeeping, Accruals, and Leave.Experience with Advanced Scheduling, Forecasting, Attendance, and Activities modules is highly desirable.Prior experience in large-scale, multi-country WFM implementations across industries (Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma, BFSI).Proven consulting background with medium-to-large enterprise customers.Technical Skills :
Expertise in UKG Dimensions configuration (pay rules, accrual rules, shift differentials, activity rules).Strong hands-on experience with Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), Genies, HyperFind queries, API-based integrations.Familiarity with SQL, XML, REST APIs, middleware (Boomi, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).Proficiency in Linux / Unix commands for log monitoring and troubleshooting.Understanding of relational databases and BI / reporting tools for workforce analytics.Soft Skills :
