Role Description
- A Technical Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the delivery of agreed project outputs to the agreed time, cost and quality parameters within the agreed scope.
- Candidate is also responsible for coordinating and improving the technological aspects of operations to improve functional performance and help deliver Divisional business goals.
- Candidate will manage and coordinate the activity with specialists, technicians and analysts to ensure that tasks are performed that result in the project deliverable.
- Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in end-to-end co-ordination across various stakeholders within procurement domain. It includes partnering with key internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into objectives and plans for implementation supporting the delivery of world class technology solutions.
- It also includes managing and maintaining strategic relationships with key IT & Business stakeholders including product and services providers by providing tactical solutions.

Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be able to provide active reporting along with appropriate analysis and keep the stakeholders as well as management up to date with the progress.Must be able to manage product Vendor's engagement and communication.Analyze and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriateWhere applicable provide other relevant support as required by the Project managerShould be able understand functional requirements / expectations of the various stakeholders and work towards an appropriate plan of actionRequires working with the product vendors and lead upgrades as applicable.Liaising with the global stakeholders to deliver technology solutions as part of yearly book of workIdentify technical issue, coming up in production.Broader overview on the application setup.Understand Bank's release and deployment process along with usage of various tools.Ability to visualize potential technical impact and there by prioritize the issue.Provide possible technical workarounds to minimize financial and reputational damages to bank.Work closely with Incident managers, L1 / L2 teams, Operations & data center colleagues describing the issues.Finding quick technical resolution / workaround involving all parties.Ability to work closely with vendor team and understand releases cycles and any technical challenges.Must be able to understand the client issues and in turn explain / manage technicalities with the product vendor for mitigation / resolution.Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Project (mpp) and must be able to create, maintain mpp for multiple parallel running initiatives. In addition, must have experience of working on project management tool like Clarity.Ensure the project work is executed and implemented according to the plan or any agreed changes to the plan and according to agreed project management standardsEnsure that the project work is compliant with documented standards, templates, and frameworks, and captured in agreed toolsetsEnsure project stakeholder awareness, engagement, and communicationAnalyze and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriateWhere applicable provide other relevant support as required by the programme managerEnsure projects are compliance to the Programme Governance FrameworkPreferred
Experience in working in Procurement Domain and on SaaS and cloud-to-onPrem integrated solutionsAbility to collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, program management and other organizational leadership to deliver projects on time, on schedule and with proper visibility at every stageYour skills and experience
Must be having total 12+ years of experience and at least 5 years of Technical Project Management experience.Must have hands on some technologies like SQL & .NETHands on experience on project management tool like ClarityDemonstrable experience in leading projects to successful conclusionsExperienced in effectively communicating and influencing project stakeholders, team membersAny Graduate, Post Graduate from an accredited college or universityProfessional qualification in Prince2 and / or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) will be a plus.Exposure to DevOps, Agile and waterfall SDLC environmentsHow we'll support you
