The Crypto Times is a fast-growing digital media platform covering the latest news, insights, and analysis from the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Crypto News Editor to join our editorial team in Ahmedabad.

Role Overview

The Crypto News Editor will be responsible for editing, fact-checking, and managing news articles written by the reporting team. The editor must ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of news while managing assigned writers and maintaining workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and fact-check 25+ news articles per shift for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and style compliance.
Review assigned news files with speed and precision without compromising quality.
Ensure headlines, structure, and content meet SEO and editorial guidelines.
Coordinate with the editorial team and writers to ensure smooth daily workflow.
Provide feedback and guidance to writers for improving article quality.
Collaborate with team leaders for daily news assignments and deadlines.
Ensure error-free and well-polished articles are published within strict timelines.
Manage team performance and maintain professional communication within the newsroom.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Editor / Sub-Editor / Copy Editor in digital media, preferably in finance, crypto, or tech news.

Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 industry trends.

Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and editorial standards.

Ability to edit high-volume content quickly while maintaining accuracy.

Strong organizational and team management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment .

Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (WordPress preferred).
