Key Responsibilities
Design and Planning
- Develop detailed electrical designs for 33kV transmission lines, including route selection, line configuration, and material specification.
- Conduct load flow and short circuit analysis to ensure designs meet operational and safety standards.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate electrical designs with site civil works and structures.
Installation and Commissioning
Supervise the installation of 33kV power lines, substations, and associated electrical equipment.Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and project timelines.Oversee system testing and commissioning to verify proper functionality and adherence to design specifications.Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for 33kV power infrastructure.Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and mitigate potential operational issues.Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults or outages.Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE), and internal company policies.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and external stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.Actively participate in project meetings, offering technical expertise and resolving electrical engineering-related issues.Skills Required
