Job Title : Manager / Senior Manager Financial Operations

Role Objective :
To lead and own the financial integrity of end-to-end reward platform operations by managing transaction reconciliation, pricing compliance, billing accuracy, refund validation, and MIS / reporting. This role requires a reconciliation specialist who can operate at the intersection of finance, technology, banking, and operations, ensuring robust financial governance across complex transaction workflows involving OTAs, loyalty partners, and multiple payment entities.
Key Parity Monitoring :
- Perform regular price parity checks across OTAs and internal product catalogues to ensure competitive pricing, eliminate financial leakage and bank compliance, audit requirements
- Collaborate with the partners, client / bank, product and sourcing teams to flag discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
Transaction & Fund Flow Reconciliation :
Lead multi-leg reconciliation across the complete transaction lifecycle :Payment Gateway Reconciliation (success / failure mapping, settlement matching)Partner Recon (OTA / airline / hotel / vendor data vs internal records)Cancellation & Refund Validation (including partial, full cancellations)Bank Statement Validation & Refund Cross-CheckFund management and payout planning managing timely payment cycles with clients and partnersRefund Processing and Post-Reconciliation :
Manage refund eligibility validation, exception handling, and timely disbursement.Ensure post-refund reconciliation is completed to close financial entries and maintain audit trail integrity.Implement controls for auto-refunds where feasible.Billing, Payments & Fund Management :
Drive all finance ops related to partner billing, MDR loss tracking, concierge billing, and partner settlements.Oversee CRR (Customer Refund Reserve) working, validation, and partner agreement alignment.Monitor and project wallet balances, ensuring sufficiency for peak redemption cycles.Manage vendor payment cycles, follow-ups, and fund allocations for business continuity.Reporting & MIS :
Generate and own delivery of :Pre-defined MIS for management and banking partners.Ad-hoc data extraction for business and compliance teams.Audit and regulatory reports including transaction trails, discrepancy logs, and reconciliation status.Financial Operations Support & Ticket Resolution :
Lead resolution of customer financial complaints, coordinating with Concierge, Partner Support, and Payment Gateways.Refund discrepanciesTechnical failure escalationsPartner / warehouse data mismatch resolutionAct as escalation point for high-value or premium customer financial queries.Required Qualifications :
MBA Finance or similar qualification with 8 to 12 years of experience in reconciliation and financial operations in fintech, banking, or loyalty platforms.Prior experience managing large scale multi-layer reconciliations, fund settlements, and refund processing is a must.Strong command over Fund management and planning, GL operations, ledger reconciliations, and audit frameworks.Expertise in tools such as SQL, Excel, and reconciliation automation platforms.Preferred Experience :
Working with reward platforms, loyalty systems, or OTAsFamiliarity, MDR structures, CRR modelling, and PCI DSS compliance related to financial operationsHands-on with MIS tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel Power Query.Key Competencies :
