About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect who can design, implement, and manage cloud computing strategies that align with business objectives. This role also involves supporting DHS services as a Cloud SRE Consultant , ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Strategy Development : Define and oversee cloud adoption plans and overall strategy.
• Architecture Design : Build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-based systems.
• Cloud Platform Management : Manage infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments.
• Cloud Migration : Lead migration of applications and data to the cloud.
• Deployment & Operations : Install, configure, and maintain DHS services; ensure smooth Engineering-to-Operations transition.
• Automation & Optimization : Identify automation opportunities to reduce deployment time and MTTR.
• Incident Management : Minimize impact of cyber incidents and ensure service reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with DigiOps, GEHC Project Managers, and Lead Service Integrators for successful go-live.
• Cost Optimization : Monitor and optimize cloud spend.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends.
