Junior Bookkeeper

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for :

Accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Reconciling supplier, subcontractor, and employee timesheet data
• Process expense claims, credit card transactions, and weekly payroll
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Support month-end processes, including reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare basic financial reports, debtor reviews, and ad hoc finance tasks
• Provide support to the Finance Manager
• 1-3 + years experience working in the construction sector in a finance position or similar
• Proficient in Xero and willing to learn new systems
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial processes
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
