Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - GFS

Job descriptionI / O configuration and partitioning to hardware Field connection diagrams DCS connection diagrams Loop drawings Control panel design Instrument wiring diagrams Cable schedule Functional Descriptions (FDS) / Controls Narratives IQ / OQ documentation Control room layouts Instrument demolition / installation diagrams Instrument datasheets Instrument location plans Conduit routing I / O lists Review vendor drawing submittals to confirm design compliance. PLC programming and design of HMI. Perform quality reviews of project submittals. Develop designs that are compliant with prevalent codes, standards, and good engineering practices followed in the industry. Work with a senior engineer in supporting design activities on the project. Bachelors degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program or a recognized institute. Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in food & consumer product and mission-critical facility design is a plus. Knowledge of the following programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred : Rockwell Studio 5000, SLC, PLC5, Modicon, GE, Siemens, Schneider. Knowledge of the following HMIs is preferred : Rockwell FTView SE / ME, Wonderware InTouch, Modicon, GE, Siemens. Knowledge of the following distributed control system platforms is preferred but not required : Emerson DeltaV, ABB Symphony Plus, and Siemens T3000. Hands-on CAD experience is a must. Knowledge of Revit is a plus. Proficient in the English language and must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous consulting engineering experience strongly preferred.

- We are looking for a candidate to join our Global Facilities business unit in the Mumbai office to support Instrumentation & Control design activities for the above-listed facilities. The engineer will be responsible for developing I&C engineering design packages and calculations in support of new or retrofit projects. Specific duties include the following :
- Design I&C systems and equipment as per the requirements of each client and facility.
- Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and / or control schematics as required.
