Job Title : Basis Consultant

Grade : M12

Reporting to : Team Lead

Location : TIMES SQUARE

Span of Control :

Experience Required : 6 - 8 years of experience.

Job Purpose / Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with a strong technical background and 6 years of experience in administering configuring and optimizing SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability performance and security of SAP systems working closely with functional consultants developers and business teams to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

A highly motivated and results-driven SAP BASIS Consultant with 6 years of experience in the administration configuration and management of SAP landscapes. Proficient in supporting SAP systems and databases handling system performance optimization and troubleshooting issues across multiple SAP modules. Adapt at installing configuring and maintaining SAP applications databases and associated middleware systems.

Key Performance Indicators :

SAP System Administration : Installing configuring and maintaining SAP systems

Database Management : Managing SAP HANA and other databases including backups performance tuning and recovery. Knowledge of SYBASE will be an added advantage.

System Monitoring : Using tools to monitor SAP system health performance and availability.

Performance Optimization : Identifying and resolving system performance issues to ensure smooth operations.

Transport Management : Handling the transport of configuration and objects between SAP systems.

Troubleshooting & Support : Diagnosing and fixing issues related to SAP systems and ensuring minimal downtime.

Job Scheduling & Automation : Automating tasks and scheduling jobs to streamline system operations.

Qualificaton :

Knowledge on S / 4 and Hana.

Functional Skills / Competencies :

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field preferred.

6-7 years of SAP BASIS experience with HANA Database will be an added advantage.

Keen enthusiasm for acquiring new technical skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with senior management from both IT and business areas

Willingness to work during weekends and designated shift hours.

Behavioral Skills / Competencies :

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field preferred.
