Job descriptionStrong experience with SAP BASIS administration and support Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database administration Knowledge of SAP system architecture, transports, and client management Experience in SAP system installation, upgrade, and patching on HANA Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, and SAP HANA tools Understanding of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorization management Experience with backup and recovery strategies in SAP HANA Scripting skills (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation Good problem-solving and communication skills
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems running on SAP HANA database.
- Perform SAP system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization on HANA environments.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and support package implementations for SAP BASIS and HANA.
- Handle database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for HANA.
- Coordinate with SAP BASIS, Security, and Functional teams for smooth SAP operations.
- Implement and maintain SAP HANA security, user roles, and authorizations.
- Troubleshoot SAP BASIS and HANA related issues, working with SAP support as needed.
- Automate routine BASIS and HANA administration tasks using scripting and tools.
- Maintain documentation related to SAP BASIS and HANA system configurations and procedures.
