Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of civil structural works, including warehouses, central stores, erection of columns, ISMB from MS plates, roof sheeting, cladding, and deck sheeting.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes and standards for structural integrity and safety.
- Conduct structural assessments to identify risks and recommend corrective actions, such as removal, repair, or rebuilding of defective parts.
- Manage project budgets to control excess expenditure while maintaining quality and safety parameters.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure completion within the set time frame.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align civil works with overall project goals.
- Prepare and review billing documentation for civil works.
- Implement best practices in construction methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards during project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil structural works for large-scale thermal power plants.Proven expertise in managing BOP civil works for 500MW / 660MW / 800MW Ultra Super Critical Thermal Power Plants.Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.Advanced certifications in structural engineering or project management are preferred.Skills Required
