About the Role :
Pinkvilla is looking for a Senior Creative Producer- Social Video to lead the ideation, scripting, and production of engaging video content across Pinkvilla's social platforms. The ideal candidate should bring strong creative instincts, digital-first storytelling skills, and hands-on production experience to deliver content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conceptualize & Produce : Develop original video concepts and scripts tailored for Pinkvilla's digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand tone, audience interests, and platform-specific formats.
- End-to-End Production : Oversee all aspects of video creation — from ideation, research, scripting, and storyboarding to on-ground production and post-production.
- Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with editorial, creative, and social media teams to plan and execute a content calendar aligned with current trends and platform insights.
- Post-Production Supervision : Partner with video editors to guide the editing process, ensuring strong storytelling, quality output, and brand consistency.
- Platform Optimization : Monitor performance analytics across platforms; use insights to refine content strategy, enhance engagement, and optimize titles, thumbnails, captions, and tags for maximum reach.
- Trendspotting & Innovation : Stay updated on evolving digital trends, emerging content formats, and platform updates; proactively introduce new ideas to keep Pinkvilla's content fresh and relevant.
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of creative producers, editors, and interns to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and consistent creative output.
- Promotional Planning : Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to design platform-specific promotional and distribution strategies for every video.
- Audience Understanding : Conduct audience and competitor analysis to gauge viewer behavior and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Film, or a related field.Minimum 6 years of experience in digital content production, preferably for entertainment or lifestyle platforms.Strong scripting, storytelling, and production skills tailored for short-form and long-form digital content.Proven experience in leading and managing creative teams, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring high production standards.Deep understanding of social media ecosystems — YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook — including algorithms, analytics, and audience engagement practices.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and closely work with production teams end-to-end.Excellent creative judgment with an eye for detail, pacing, and visual quality.Strong communication and organizational skills.Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and digital media trends.Skills Required
