About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with a strong background in Heterogeneous System Migrations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing complex SAP landscapes, performing system upgrades, migrations, and supporting large-scale SAP environments on cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform Heterogeneous Migrations (OS / DB migrations) using SAP tools such as SWPM, SUM, and DMO.
• Manage and support SAP system installations, upgrades, refreshes, and performance tuning.
• Handle SAP landscape administration across environments - Development, QA, Production.
• Support SAP HANA, S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, PI / PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP components.
• Implement and manage transport management systems (TMS).
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and database teams for system performance and issue resolution.
• Apply SAP Notes, patches, kernel upgrades, and manage SPAM / SAINT updates.
• Ensure high system availability, backup / recovery planning, and DR setup.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide migration support to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 10 years of SAP BASIS administration experience.

Mandatory : Proven expertise in Heterogeneous Migration (OS / DB Migration) using SWPM & SUM tools.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA and S / 4HANA environments.

Deep understanding of UNIX / Linux / Windows and database platforms (Oracle, DB2, HANA, SQL Server).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for SAP deployments.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

SAP BASIS certification or SAP OS / DB Migration certification preferred.

Nice to Have :

Experience in Cloud Migration Projects.

Exposure to SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring).

Knowledge of SAP Security and GRC basics.
