Job description

Role Overview :

The SAP Basis & Security Lead will be responsible for end-to-end management of SAP S / 4HANA 2302 (On-Premise / Private Cloud) landscape — ensuring system stability, performance, and security. The role includes handling CALM setup, transport automation, SSO integration, GRC implementation, SoD management, and infrastructure upgrades in alignment with enterprise IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all SAP Basis activities across S / 4HANA and related systems (Fiori, Ariba, SAC,CALM etc.).
  • Manage system performance, patches, transport routes, and environment refreshes.
  • Implement and maintain SAP CALM setup with transport automation and system monitoring.
  • Plan and execute hardware and OS upgrades with infra teams.
  • Oversee SAP Security including role design, authorization management, and access reviews.
  • Redesign and govern the Role Matrix ensuring SoD compliance.
  • Manage SAP GRC Access Control , including user provisioning, firefighter IDs, and SoD conflict resolution.
  • Implement and maintain SSO integration with enterprise identity systems (e.g., Azure AD / ADFS).
  • Establish and enforce best practices for user management, access control, and security audits.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Security.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S / 4HANA 2302 (On-Prem / Private Cloud) and HANA DB .
  • Proven experience with SAP CALM , GRC Access Control , SoD analysis , and SSO setup .
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure , OS (Linux / Windows) , and system upgrades .
  • Exposure to SAP Solution Manager , Cloud Connector , and Fiori preferred.

    • Education

  • BE / BTech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.

    • Preferred Certifications

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP S / 4HANA)
  • SAP GRC / Security Certification (preferred)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration ability.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable for system reliability.
