Description : Main Purpose of Role
Under general direction, the role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for key accounts. The incumbent will lead cross-functional sales initiatives to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a cross-regional sales team to drive growth and expand relationships with key accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting both new and existing clients.
- Gather and analyze detailed account information, identify key decision-makers, and understand client business priorities.
- Evaluate market trends and business challenges to identify new opportunities for account penetration.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, account plans, and market strategies to achieve assigned sales goals.
- Coordinate account planning and ensure smooth collaboration between teams to resolve ownership and client management issues.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and provide detailed reports on activities, results, and market insights.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a high-performance sales Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management.
- Proven track record of managing large or strategic accounts successfully.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market dynamics and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience managing both direct and indirect sales teams is an advantage.
