About the role :
As an Oracle Cloud Admin at Calfus, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, developing and integrating business applications, and ensuring the security, performance, and compliance of our cloud environments. You will work closely with business analysts, development teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
What Youll Do :
- Hands-on configurations, testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Provisioning and managing computing instances (VMs), storage services (Object Storage, Block Volume), and network components (VCNs, subnets, security lists) within OCI.
- Implementing and managing cloud networking configurations, including routing, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Monitoring cloud resource utilization and optimizing costs.
- Monitoring cloud resource utilization and optimizing costs. Ty and Access Management (IAM).
- Implementing security best practices like encryption, patching, and vulnerability scanning.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Creating scripts and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Monitoring cloud services for performance issues, including resource utilization, latency, and availability.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure components.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies in a short duration.
- Work with the team of analysts and leads, implementing new cloud business applications and integrations
- Assist in Implementing product features / proof of concept code that client could use to expand its business objectives and application landscape.
- Assist in coordinating the activities of the Oracle Application Admin services.
- Provides first-line support to IT Development, Product, AMS team, and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with other system owners to ensure data and system access and security.
- Execute System integration testing.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing for new system or enhancement releases. This involves assisting with creating test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have :
4-8 years of experience in IT, preferably in large multinational environments.Strong proficiency in Oracle Apex, OIC, VBCS, ORDS, PCS, GIT, Oracle SQL, Java, Python, Shell Scripts, Bash, Webservices / APIs, and Oracle PL / SQL.Solid understanding of OCI services (compute, storage, networking, database, security).Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, and SFTP protocols.Knowledge of networking fundamentals (subnetting, routing, firewalls).Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.Hands-on experience supporting Oracle ERP / EPM Cloud infrastructure and security.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Background in computer science, mathematics, or similar technical discipline.Willingness to travel occasionally based on project needs.Benefits :
