Medical Doctor - Healthcare Initiatives (Delhi)

About Us At Jiv Daya Foundation (JDF), we are committed to improving healthcare access and outcomes across India. Our initiatives span Tuberculosis control, Rheumatology access, Eye Care programs, and other public health projects, implemented in partnership with leading government medical colleges and healthcare institutions.
We are seeking a Medical Doctor (MBBS / MD) to join our team as a Program Officer to support patient case review, monitoring, and evaluation of these initiatives. This role will be based in Delhi, with significant travel to partner hospitals and project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Case Review
Review and assess requests for Rheumatology patients requiring support.
Evaluate case summaries of TB patients, confirm if regimens are appropriate, identify missing components, and recommend next steps.
Doctor & Hospital Engagement
Connect with every doctor supported at partner government medical colleges to ensure strong collaboration.
Conduct regular site visits to track patient outcomes and address program gaps.
Program & Resource Coordination
Work closely with project officers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless program execution.
Monitor and track inventory, medicine kits, and other resources donated by the Foundation for optimal use.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Identify gaps in medicines, medical devices, and emergency services at partner hospitals.
Prepare periodic reports on patient outcomes, impact, and program effectiveness.
Cross-Initiative Support
Support additional projects such as Eye Care and Maternal Health initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MBBS required; MD preferred).
BAMS, BHMS, and PhD are not accepted.
Experience in Rheumatology, Tuberculosis, Maternal Health, or Internal Medicine is highly desirable.
Strong ability to clinically review case summaries and recommend patient support measures.
Prior work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Willingness to travel across India (50% of time).
