Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU (MICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU), ensuring timely and effective management of medical emergencies.
Coordinate closely with the emergency and trauma team to ensure rapid response during acute medical situations, prescribing appropriate treatments and medications as per protocol.
Manage Outpatient Departments (OPDs) by performing thorough patient evaluations, clinical checkups, preliminary diagnoses, and referring cases to relevant specialists as required.
Monitor patients’ clinical conditions continuously, re-evaluate treatment plans, and modify interventions based on ongoing assessment and diagnostic results.
Collect and assess detailed patient history to aid in accurate diagnosis and effective care planning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, including coordinating with specialty hospitals and external consultants for advanced interventions.
Ensure implementation of hospital protocols and health and safety policies that promote a high standard of patient care and clinical environment.
Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical audits to maintain standards in patient safety, clinical efficiency, and compliance.
Key Skills & Competencies :
Proficiency in critical care protocols, emergency medicine, and clinical diagnosis Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work in high-pressure situations with quick decision-making Sound knowledge of medication management and critical interventions Familiarity with ICU equipment and electronic health records (EHR)
