Job Description – Senior Cloud Software Engineer

About OneHubPOS

OneHubPOS is building next-generation restaurant and retail POS systems for the U.S. market. Our platform integrates POS, kiosks, KDS, payments, and digital signage to deliver seamless customer experiences. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to play a critical role in scaling our cloud platform, driving DevOps automation, and shaping our modern front-end stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & Development

○ Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud services on AWS / GCP / Azure.

○ Implement microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures to support POS and IoT-like workloads.

○ Optimize cloud costs, performance monitoring, and fault tolerance.

○ Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, or equivalent tools.

○ Lead CI / CD pipeline design and implementation for faster, reliable releases.

○ Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

○ Build and optimize responsive, performant web front-ends using React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern tooling.

○ Collaborate with design / product to deliver intuitive UIs for management consoles, dashboards, and reporting tools.

○ Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices across cloud, DevOps, and frontend.

○ Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.

○ Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to keep OneHubPOS ahead of the curve.
