About The Role.
Senior Developer is a technically skilled individual contributor who plays a key role in advancing internal control modernization efforts through applied expertise in data engineering, automation, and GenAI.
This role is responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, building interactive dashboards for compliance monitoring, and validating AI and automation solutions used in compliance programs within FRM.
Senior Developer also serve as a critical link between compliance stakeholders and engineering teams-translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Success in this role requires hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, API integration, and familiarity with AI model validation workflows and orchestration tools such as LangChain or the Candidate Will Do :
- Data Engineering & Risk Intelligence : Design efficient SQL queries and build Python-based data pipelines to support SOX controls, risk metrics, and compliance reporting.
- Implement rule-based validations and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly Dash) to surface key insights.
- GenAI & LLM Integration for Controls : Develop and test LLM prompts using tools like Jupyter and OpenAI APIs to modernize SOX documentation and audit evidence review.
- Ensure outputs are accurate, traceable, and explainable for use in scoping, testing, and deficiency analysis.
- Compliance Workflow Automation : Automate SOX test population, evidence retrieval, and exception flagging using Python and API-integrated workflows.
- Integrate with platforms like AuditBoard to ensure traceability, audit logging, and alignment with compliance controls.
- Data & AI SME : Advise risk and compliance teams on responsible AI usage.
- Ensure AI outputs meet standards for traceability, reproducibility, and explainability in SOX and FRM contexts.
- Audit Readiness & Communication : Create audit-ready documentation and visualizations (Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart) to explain the logic and governance of data pipelines, GenAI tools, and automation workflows to technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical discipline.4+ years in technical roles involving data transformation, automation, or scripting.Proficient in Python, SQL, and at least one general-purpose language (e.g., JavaScript, Java).Understanding of CI / CD workflows, cloud-based deployment, and API integrations.Experience in developing interactive dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau.Working knowledge of source control (Git), branching strategies, and testing pipelines.Hands-on experience implementing or supporting AI and LLM solutions in data-driven or complianceenvironments.
Practical use of GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG).Exposure to compliance or audit-related documentation or validation activities.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with front-end or web development frameworks such as React and Flask.Experience developing or maintaining web-based tools to support SOX compliance, includingworkflows for control testing, risk assessments, or audit documentation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements intofunctional applications and automated workflows.
