WFO- 3 days Mandatory from the above-mentioned locations.

ROLE SUMMARY :

The Delphi multi-tiered Desktop Application Developer supports our mission by developing quality software within a structured and mature agile software development life-cycle environment. This position works closely with the Business Product Owners, Business Analyst and other developers to ensure that modifications and enhancements to existing software provide efficient and effective solutions for the Business. The applicant for this position will be involved in all aspects of application development, including analysis, requirements documentation, design, development, testing and issue tracking resolution.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Conduct maintenance and development of customized Delphi Windows applications.
Distil requirements from legacy Delphi application for the green field project.
Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of Delphi Windows applications utilizing SQL Server databases.
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, determining areas of improvement and general debugging.
Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
Liaise with QA team to assist in resolving problems with custom software products and company software systems.
Create technical documents for software products using software such as Confluence, JIRA, Visio, Word and Excel.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS :

5+ years of experience designing / developing Delphi Windows applications and SQL Server database stored procedures (T-SQL).

Able to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.

8+ Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Delphi 6 or higher (Object Oriented Pascal) experience.

Show adherence to Object Oriented design principles and patterns.

SQL Server 2012 or higher experience.

Familiarity with T-SQL and stored procedures

Delphi package development experience

Logical and physical RDBMS data modeling experience.

Experience with source control / ALM software.

Experience with software versioning and release management.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
