The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Management Intern to help us establish strategic partnerships and unlock funding opportunities across Chennai and Tamil Nadu. This role is critical as we expand our India operations and build relationships with women's organizations, government bodies, and industry associations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development
Identify and engage with women's organizations and NGOs focused on elderly care and social welfare
Build relationships with key stakeholders in the senior care ecosystem
Represent Gerontologycare at networking events and industry forums
Grant & Funding Management
Research and identify relevant government grants, CSR funding, and innovation programs
Prepare grant applications and proposals for funding opportunities
Track and manage application timelines and follow-ups
CII & Industry Engagement
Develop relationships with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tamil Nadu chapter
Participate in CII Healthcare and Technology committees
Explore collaboration opportunities with industry partners
Market Intelligence
Conduct research on elderly care market trends in Tamil Nadu
Identify potential B2B clients including hospitals, senior living facilities, and healthcare organizations
Analyze competitive landscape and partnership opportunities
Business Development Support
Assist in organizing workshops and awareness programs for stakeholders
Prepare presentations and marketing materials for partner outreach
Support pilot program development with healthcare organizations
What We're Looking For
Education & Background
Currently pursuing or recently completed MBA / PGDM, preferably with specialization in Marketing, Business Development, or Healthcare Management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Social Work, or related fields
Skills & Qualities
Excellent Communication :
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil
Relationship Building :
Natural networker with ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders
Research Oriented :
Skilled at identifying opportunities and gathering market intelligence

Preferred Experience
Prior internship or volunteer experience with NGOs, women's organizations, or healthcare sector
Familiarity with grant writing or proposal development
Understanding of CII or similar industry associations
Experience in stakeholder management or business development
