As part of a national pilot program, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Additional Needs Teaching Specialist to uplift teaching practice across a group of centres and embed inclusive, high-quality learning strategies for children with additional needs.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with centre teams, pedagogical leaders, and educators to build capability, confidence, and connection - ensuring no child is left behind.

Your Impact :

In this role, you will :

• Build strong, positive relationships with centre leadership teams to deliver consistent, high-quality coaching and guidance on inclusive teaching and learning.
• Support the implementation and embedding of Universal Practices as the foundation for inclusive, high-quality education.
• Coach and mentor educators in proactive, playful, and intentional teaching strategies that enhance communication, language, and social-emotional development.
• Model the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans and “in-the-moment” strategies for children with additional needs.
• Work closely with pedagogical leaders to build the capability and confidence of their teams to support all children’s learning and development.
• Facilitate Communities of Practice to encourage critical reflection, collaboration, and shared learning.
• Support the implementation and evaluation of All Children Communicate, including the use of the monitoring tool for children from birth to five years.
