As a MuleSoft Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform , helping us connect applications and data across our global ecosystem.

Role Overview
The MuleSoft Developer will be responsible for hands-on design, development, implementation, and support of API-led and integration solutions. You’ll work closely with architects, business analysts, and platform engineers to deliver secure, reusable, and high-performance integrations that support Roche’s digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Designer, and other platform components.
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable components, templates, connectors, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
- Deploy and manage applications across MuleSoft environments (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid).
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and error-handling best practices in all integrations.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of APIs and integration flows.
- Contribute to API lifecycle management — design, documentation, versioning, and governance.
- Work in agile teams, participate in sprints, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI / CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.3–6 years of hands-on experience developing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform .Strong understanding of API-led connectivity , REST / SOAP services, JSON / XML, and data transformation using DataWeave.Experience with RAML or OpenAPI specifications for API design and documentation.Good knowledge of Mule runtime management , CloudHub, and deployment strategies.Familiarity with integration patterns (synchronous / asynchronous, pub-sub, batch, event-driven).Knowledge of DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Maven , or similar tools for automation and CI / CD.Awareness of security standards – OAuth, JWT, TLS, client ID / secret, and API Manager policies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD – Level 1 or 2) certification.Experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, or similar enterprise systems .Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP , containers (Docker / Kubernetes), or event streaming (Solace, Kafka).Exposure to working in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, life sciences) .What We Offer
