About the Opportunity
TechnohandZ is supporting one of our leading clients in the AI and Robotics domain to identify Deployment Engineers (AMR) who will play a key role in developing, deploying, and troubleshooting Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems.
The selected candidates will work on cutting-edge robotics platforms , collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation and robotics solutions in real-world industrial environments.
Role Overview
We are looking for hands-on Deployment Engineers with strong experience in robotics system integration and field deployment . The ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of autonomous navigation, mapping, and sensor integration , along with practical exposure to ROS / ROS2-based development and on-site commissioning .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AMR systems for indoor and outdoor navigation.
- Implement and optimize localization, mapping, and path planning algorithms (e.g., SLAM, AMCL, MPC).
- Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs, and wheel encoders into robotic platforms.
- Develop software modules using ROS / ROS2, C++, and Python for real-time control and perception.
- Conduct simulation testing using tools such as Gazebo, RViz, or MATLAB to validate robot behavior.
- Perform system-level debugging and troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to implement and test new features.
- Prepare technical documentation – including architecture diagrams, deployment notes, and test reports.
- Provide on-site support and technical assistance during commissioning and deployment phases.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in robotics deployment, field engineering, or automation commissioning.Proficiency in ROS / ROS2, Python, and C++ .Experience with sensor fusion and motion control algorithms .Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming .Exposure to industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet / IP) is an advantage.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills .Preferred Attributes
Experience deploying robotics or automation systems in industrial settings.Ability to manage multiple on-site deployments with minimal supervision.Strong documentation and stakeholder communication capabilities.
