Platform Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Requirements :

• Extensive experience designing, deploying and managing scalable and resilient solutions and cloud-native infrastructure according to good practice with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure as code, networking, security, back-ups, key vaults, monitoring and ARM.
• Hands-on experience configuring and leading use of Azure DevOps or similar CI / CD tools, infrastructure monitoring solutions and environment management.
• Proactively managed capacity and performance, setting the tone for a culture of continuous improvement, including scaling solutions globally, ensuring DR & BCP and optimising peoples time through automation.
• Implemented security controls, such as IAM, encryption and compliance standards to ensure security and integrity.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and best practices, such as WAF and PoLP.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
• Proficiency in provisioning and managing both IaaS and PaaS resources, including storage accounts, networks, Azure SQL, VMs, including Windows Server and SQL Server at the OS and application layers.
• Experience with data engineering and analytics platforms, such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPNs, VNETs & peering, subnets, routing, firewalls and DNS.
