Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform comprehensive fabric analysis to evaluate material composition and structure
• Measure GSM (Grams per Square Meter) to assess fabric weight
• Conduct colour fastness tests to determine resistance to fading under different conditions
• Carry out washing fastness evaluations to assess fabric durability during laundering
• Analyze tearing strength and breaking strength to understand material endurance
• Test and record oil percentage in yarn for quality and process control
• Examine tenacity of yarn under different stretching patterns to evaluate strength characteristics
• Assist in identifying and documenting value addition processes for textile products
• Maintain accurate testing records and ensure compliance with laboratory standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to interpret results and suggest improvements
